Mr Lars Erik Olson and Mary from sweden visited kuchu shiners offices to see what they do in the field of health services and they appreciated the work we do.

A meeting with the staff and members held at kuchu shiners uganda. in the meeting. in the new place, many things to improve the  running of our organisation and to see how security can be build with the members. and laws of conduct, where build to protect the organisation and the members staying at the organisation, and protect ourselves from the community, new ideas and projects like making clothes,shoes and others, in this all respecting  eacthother and team work were emphasized. In the meeting with the staff members many things were said and in this where implementing laws of conduct and to see how the organization will keep on going with its work at the same way as it was. Speechs from different staff members talked about many things and reactions were also given to solve the unbroken ways which difficult the work of the organization.

It was pleasure to meet these people again to work with them in the system. Safe Abortion was the topic of the day with TRANS MEN in the community, this took place at kuchu shiners offices teaching the dangerous and the proper ways of aborting.

TASO ENTEBBE AND KAWALA HEALTH CENTRE III as they duty to see all health services  are given to the key population, kuchu shiners at they new place where DIC is found hosted these two facilities to come and Test,Treat, Counsel and STI sceening to they members. this outreach was successful and all members participated. Even PrEp where given to them through the process of initiation.

In findings, Kuchu shiners uganda has the highest level of knowledge about running the DIC and in this record keeping is well modified. In the discussing of to improve on the services and follow ups of the clients who are at the DIC, we talked about many things like challenges and how to overcome them. In things we talked about were;   ü   Distribution of condoms and lubricants at the DIC in the time needed. ü   Improvement of referrals on pep and prep to Marpi mulago, family planning. ü   At our DIC we don’t only offer health services but also engage in economic empowerment. Whereby we carryout catering, art and craft weaving and poultry keeping, in this system helps our organisation and the members in earning some income to be in their wallets. ü   Lack of capacity building at the DIC. ü   Gaps in data collecting at the DIC and outreaches. ü   Limited resources for attaining fulltime clinician. ü   Build in capacity in peers working at the DIC and in the community
