Marpi mulago and kuchu shiners Uganda carried an outreach to teach and test with also counselling to the key populations, in teaching they taught them how to use PrEp. many of them were tested and given PrEp to prevent them from acquiring HIV.

Ed of kuchu shiners was part of the meeting organised by the molt to process of developing design disseminate and implementation of PrEp messaging and communication.

The meeting was based on feedback on what recorded score cards from the health facilities in wakiso district include;   kira kajjansi Ndejje Nsangi etc    Together with their Drop in Centers. the cores valid from 00-10. The following services were perfectly supplied; Male Condoms Lubricants PrEp ART services among others. The following were poorly distributed; Female Condoms Hostage by Medical assistants. The biggest credit was given to Kps, peer leaders who performed well to reach the demands of their clients and some in-charges who enforced for better services. The following categories attended the meeting. Secretary for Healthy Chairperson for Health committee. Ambassador for health in wakiso. Incharges of Health facilities Dic Cordinators. Peerleaders of Kps. Marps Network Staff. etc. This was effectively sponsered by marps network and funded by maldmaid.

Yesterday 22/03/2019, Kuchu shiners Uganda generated its first outreach in Mubede district . The outreach comprised of 3 peers,4 medical doctors from Mubende regional referral, the executive director Kuchu Shiners Uganda and members from the Youth Alive Uganda. The outreach was targeted for the sex workers , MSM , other key population members and the general population as whole. We managed to provide services to 86 of the above mentioned categories such as SMC, HIV testing  and counseling, STI testing and treatment, family planning services and health sensitization. Being our first time we weren’t able to finish up with the whole outreach programme due to some shortcomings. Thus some peers and medical doctors will be providing services to more people under the key population today afternoon. We faced some challenges such as inadequate medical drugs .There is also need for more outreaches and dialogues for the MSM , transgender, sex workers. The medical personnels and local leaders need

2years of existence, Kuchu Shiners Uganda is celebrating it's existence in the system of providing healthy services to the Kps, not that but also the organization has many activities which we carry on at the office, like making cakes, weaving bags and poultry keeping.we have partnerd with many organizations and health facilities. With many members.

We hope that the paliament and community will consider the implement on effective and progressive sexual offenses bill that puts Uganda at the forefront of global 2018 norms. According to the ministry of health, it is important for each and every individual to know his or her HIV status. And in order to achieve the 95:95:95 Target; we as kuchu shiners Uganda we provide free HIV testing services and also refer to MARPI for other HIV prevention interventions like prep, pep and other preventive measures.

Kuchu Shiners Uganda, carried out amoon light outreach to the community where it's offices are located and the outreach was successful. This HTC was attended by many people and counseling and testing services were done.

Kuchu Shiners Uganda, attended the workshop which took two days and two of his members represented the orgainization. And the workshop was all about gender based violence in key population, which was organised by MARPS NETWORK.
